Ozma Labs is an independent lab in Melbourne, Australia. We publish formal research on graph-native cognition and build open-source systems software. The work spans theory and engineering — and holds both at once, deliberately.
A research programme on the substrate of cognition, and an engineering programme on the systems around a desk. They share a premise: the right structure makes hard things easy.
A series of preprints on graph-native cognition, collapse, frame-relative identity, and the groundings that follow from a single claim about relation. Circulated for comment, released as they clear.

Read the blog →The systems the lab builds — from Ocelot, the research substrate, and the Jabberwock it enables, to Bigville, a data-driven village simulation, and Ozma, a software-defined KVMA platform. Some is open source; the research substrate and the entity are not yet released.
